Reflection: Postwar America

We have discussed a changing postwar America for the past couple of days. Answer the following questions reflecting on our discussions. Submit to Schoology before class tomorrow.


1) How did migration to California and the Sunbelt change the political landscape?
2) In theory, how was Brown v Board of Ed. going to improve education in our country?

Kent State

Today we spoke about the Kent State Massacre in 1970.
Students were protesting, which is their right. national Guardsmen came in and four students were shot and killed.

We are seeing more and more protests since Mr. Trump became president. Do you think we would see this same rise in violent if Hillary Clinton had won? Why?
